JVC or Barco for a Private Cinema?

JVC and Barco can both belong in serious private cinemas, but they enter the design conversation differently.

JVC: a highly capable residential projection path

For many dedicated rooms, JVC provides a compact and sophisticated route into high-performance projection. The NZ700 and NZ800 make sense where their light output, lens geometry and installation requirements match the room.

Barco: when the projection architecture changes

Barco becomes relevant when screen scale, required light output, specialist lens choice, throw geometry or the overall project calls for a more professional projection platform.

The transition should therefore not be presented as a simple price ladder. The room should create the reason for the change.

Think in systems, not brands

In either case we also consider the screen surface, masking strategy, source chain and whether an external video processor belongs in the design. The correct projector is the one that completes that system coherently.
