Scope of works
- Concept design and advanced technical design in one coordinated package.
- Room, screen, seating, speaker, subwoofer, projector, rack and control-system direction.
- Aesthetic direction for architectural and interior-design coordination.
- Final equipment specification and value-engineering discussion.
- Coordination notes for architect, interior designer, builder, electrician and relevant trades.
- Review of contractor drawings relating to the cinema requirements.
- Procurement and installation-readiness brief.
- Commissioning brief, three meetings and two revisions.
Excludes equipment supply, installation labour, travel, site supervision and third-party professional fees unless separately quoted.
Design-fee credit
The design fee forms part of the overall home cinema construction requirements. If Home Cinema Store’s subsequent equipment supply and installation proposal is accepted, the design fee paid for this package will be credited in full against the accepted project quotation and will not be charged again.
- Credit applies to the same property, room and project.
- Credit is applied once the equipment supply and installation proposal is formally accepted and its deposit paid.
- The credit cannot exceed the design fee actually paid.
- It is not exchangeable for cash or transferable to another project.
- Additional work caused by a material change in scope remains separately chargeable.
