Description

An early-stage cinema concept that turns the room and brief into a coherent first design direction.

Scope of works

  • Client questionnaire and 60-minute online design meeting.
  • Preliminary screen size, viewing distance and seating direction.
  • Preliminary loudspeaker, subwoofer and projector direction.
  • Indicative equipment approach and budget framework.
  • Concise concept document for the homeowner and design team.
  • One revision after review.

Excludes construction drawings, acoustic modelling, detailed wiring layouts, contractor coordination and calibration.

Design-fee credit

The design fee forms part of the overall home cinema construction requirements. If Home Cinema Store’s subsequent equipment supply and installation proposal is accepted, the design fee paid for this package will be credited in full against the accepted project quotation and will not be charged again.

  • Credit applies to the same property, room and project.
  • Credit is applied once the equipment supply and installation proposal is formally accepted and its deposit paid.
  • The credit cannot exceed the design fee actually paid.
  • It is not exchangeable for cash or transferable to another project.
  • Additional work caused by a material change in scope remains separately chargeable.
