Design & commissioning
Includes the Basic Cinema Technical Design scope plus detailed plans, elevations, reflected ceiling guidance, sightline and projector throw coordination, speaker/subwoofer/rack/heat/signal/cabling/power/network/control notes, acoustic brief and coordination notes. Includes two meetings and two revisions. Target delivery is approximately 15 working days from receipt of the required information. Structural, mechanical and architectural sign-off, site testing and calibration are excluded unless separately quoted.

Description

A detailed technical cinema design package for construction and trade coordination.

Scope of works

  • Everything included in Basic Cinema Technical Design.
  • Detailed screen, seating, sightline and projector-throw coordination.
  • Detailed speaker, subwoofer and equipment-rack positioning.
  • Reflected ceiling and services coordination guidance.
  • Power, data, cabling, network, control, heat and ventilation notes.
  • Acoustic design brief and construction coordination notes.
  • Two project meetings and two revisions.

Excludes structural, mechanical and architectural professional sign-off, site testing, calibration and site supervision unless separately quoted.

Design-fee credit

The design fee forms part of the overall home cinema construction requirements. If Home Cinema Store’s subsequent equipment supply and installation proposal is accepted, the design fee paid for this package will be credited in full against the accepted project quotation and will not be charged again.

  • Credit applies to the same property, room and project.
  • Credit is applied once the equipment supply and installation proposal is formally accepted and its deposit paid.
  • The credit cannot exceed the design fee actually paid.
  • It is not exchangeable for cash or transferable to another project.
  • Additional work caused by a material change in scope remains separately chargeable.
